    Make Yourself a Beach Chair!

    • ReStitch yourself a beach chair and then relax!

This project was super fun and easy and if you have an old beach or lawn chair kicking around, ReStitch will give it new life and luster!

    ReStitch Yarn used in project:

Pink Is Your Signature Color Restitch Yarn52 yards of super chunk in “Pink Is Your Signature Color”

Blue Bird ReStitch Yarn25 yards super chunk with paint dobs in “Blue Bird”

Tie a nice secure knot around the back side of the chair frame, then unravel the ball across the seat and around the frame on the other side once, then go back.  From here on out, it’s just around and around the frame until you reach the front.  Make sure you keep the yarn tight!

When you get there, do the same thing to end that you did to start, go around the frame once, go back across the seat, around the frame once and then tie off securely.

Repeat this same process on the back of the chair.  Next comes the harder part…With a big finishing knitting needle (not the kind you knit with, the kind you use to sew in ends) starting at the back of the seat, weave the yarn over and under each strand of the seat as close to the frame as you can get. When you get to the front, pass the needle back through the little triangle you just created and tie off the end. Repeat on the other side of the seat. This ties the seat together. Repeat this whole process on the back of the chair.  Weave in your ends and that’s it!
